About the event
The CDC’s Youth Risk Behavior Survey published this year, offered the first look at trends since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, and the statistics are devastating. Here’s what you need to know:
🖤 57% of teen girls reported feeling sad or hopeless
🖤 30% reported considering suicide
🖤 18% (nearly 1 in 5) experienced sexual violence
🖤 14% reported ever being forced to have sex
Navigating teen and young adult dating can be difficult enough, and now you have the pressures of social media and hardly any education on these topics in school. MK Prevention Services is here to help you make uncomfortable conversations, comfortable so that you know you’ve done everything in your power to educate and protect your loved ones. From an overview of unhealthy relationships and sexual violence, to mental health, social media, and resources we are going over it all!
